Fionnuala Hart Gerrity – A Mythological Bestiary
This book, with 14 hand-painted pages, is an example of the tremendous value found in many artists’ books. I mean by this that the images if sold individually as framable wall works would likely sell for quite a bit more. The book is beautifully bound and housed in a a drop spine box that converts to a book-cradle when opened.
Fionnuala Hart Gerrity received a BFA in printmaking in 2009 from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, where she began making artists books. Fionnuala is now in the second and final year of the North Bennet Street School’s bookbinding program.
This book is an edition of 12 copies, each sells for $1800
